Since 2012
How I got here
I started paragliding in 2012, when I moved to the Gruyère, and was hooked almost at once. Four months later I had my licence; the week after, I was already trying to fly over Mont Blanc. It didn't work: I was a little short on practice.
Then came a few years of mostly cross-country flying: going as far as possible on thermals. Later I added the speedriding extension, for small wings on skis.
After a few years' break to be a young dad, I came back gradually, mostly to hike and fly. I walk up with 10 to 15 kg on my back to a take-off that is often improvised, then try to fly as far as possible, so as to walk as little as possible. I've entered a few competitions (Jura Hike & Fly, Vercofly, Gruyère Fly), always with the same first goal: the joy of flying and sharing it.
The latest chapter: in 2024 I started the tandem licence, to share these moments with my daughter, my friends and the people around me. The goal is to finish by the end of 2026, and finally let you discover this world.
